	There are interesting things to be seen in Moscow quite different
from what one will see on the regular tours offered to tourists or
offered in connection with scientific meetings.  Perhaps a different
kind of tour could be arranged in connection with some scientific
meeting.

	Here are some of the items:

	1. The special shop reserved for members of the Central Committee
or other special shops.  The rows of chauffered cars lined up
while the leaders shop are a worthwhile sight.  Perhaps a conversation
with one of the waiting chauffeurs could be arranged.  In general,
conversations with chauffeurs and other servants may be worthwhile.
A lecture on the Nomenklatura and its privileges could accompany this
visit.

	2. The Lubianka prison.  A lecture on famous inmates could
accompany it.  Perhaps they still use vans labelled MEAT for
transporting prisoners.

	3. A visit to one of the railway stations is always educational.
This is one place to view the drunks.

	4. The free market should be visited.

	5. The lot where cars are traded.

	6. A typical stolovaya.  The level of cleanliness and courtesy
has to be seen to be believed.
